I really like the idea that the mask represents the character's molt and transformation. One thing I wasn't sure about, though: it feels like the character always uses the same mask. Could a bandit (or impostor) acquire new masks over the course of different adventures, or own several masks with different identities and abilities? I think that could be an interesting possibility, but I'm not sure if that's the intended design.
I also really enjoyed the random tables for the Mask Master. They make for a great starting point, and it's easy to imagine creating your own tables once you've played a few games. And I have to admit, I laughed out loud when I rolled "Dave" on the "From" table. 😄
This is such a silly game! Air definitely blew out of my nose multiple times lol.
I will say preemptively I'm not super familiar with PBTA I've just heard of it.
Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to play with right now but I still really enjoyed reading through it!
I like the using your mask and using your face, that's really cool and really drives home the theme of being an imposter if you lean in to it as a player.
Also, asking the MM and other MBs for consequences and stuff is really cool!

Such a fun tabletop game—building your skills around how your mask looks is such a cool idea! And that heist generator table is hilarious!.
